First Baptist Church - Odem

On Saturday, August 25, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the church hosted a social for "Adults with Seniority" (age 60 and older) in the church and from the Odem - Edroy community. Free lunch, dessert, and beverages were served. After lunch and door prize drawings, attendees enjoyed a time of visiting and games. Magazines were also available for attendees to take. 48 "Adults with Seniority" attended. 20 volunteers served. This is the first of planned monthly events to recognize, honor and serve our "Adults with Seniority" and to fulfill the assignment given in scripture.
