Women's Ministry

Titus 2 Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry exists to glorify God and point women to Jesus.

The mission of our women's ministry is to know and proclaim the truth through discipleship, fellowship, and service.

We are committed to equipping women to grow in understanding our God-given design as women and living out our biblical calling within the home, church, and community.

Women's Ministry Services:

Service Ministry & Card Writing - led by Dominga Guerra.  The group prepares and delivers care packages for individuals who are home-bound or residing in care facilities, make visits, and write cards to those that have birthdays, anniversaries and/or who just need a special touch from a caring friend.  Card writing happens at Dairy Queen in Odem on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 am.

Spiritual Growth - led by Jan Vickers.  This is a weekly Bible study held on Wednesdays at 9:30 am or 6:00 pm.  It is a focused time to learn and grow, and to grow together as Christian sisters.

Fellowship - led by Angela Witten.  The mission of women's fellowship is fulfilled through the Ladies Night Out (LNO) program, and occurs on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.  Activities include dining out, attending spiritual movies and programs,  cooking demonstrations and craft projects; it's open to any activity that brings women together in Christian fellowship.

Meals Ministry - led by Bobbie Nix.  The ministry through this activity supports family in need by providing meals when challenges or mourning arise, and/or when celebrations, like a new baby and the mother's recovery, make meal preparation just a little more difficult.  Women volunteer to provide a meal; whether home made or purchased, and either deliver or make arrangements for deliver of the meal.

Seniors Ministry - led by Joan McKaughan.  This ministry seeks to provide support and social activities for "Adults with Seniority".

"But as for you (Titus), teach what accords with sound doctrine...Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."  Titus 2:1, 3-5
